So, Rebekah Brooks has resigned. At last. Not very many years late. This thing, once it started to unravel, has been like a ball of yarn bouncing down a staircase. A very long staircase. All the pulling on the loose end does nothing to help.

So, today was lazy to start with, but we did go out this afternoon, in search of bread, fuel and such trivia. Oh, and we saw some Art. Not necessarily SFW...

We're in Piemonte, as the Italians say it. That is, the top left-hand corner of Italy, just under the Alps, and full of interest to castle and history fans, though not particularly a tourist area, which is the way we like it. Asti, of Spumante fame, is a dozen miles or so away, and our tiny flat overlooks vineyards and rolling hills.
